Roles and Responsibilities
- Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the adoption process.
- Regularly evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software.
- Develop and organize cloud systems.
- Work closely with IT security to monitor the company's cloud privacy.
- Respond to technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Offer guidance in infrastructure movement techniques including bulk application transfers into the cloud.
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
Technical Expertise
- Experience with enterprise applications and ecosystems AWS/ GCP/Azure solution components
- Well versed with IaaS and PaaS services of AWS, Azure & GCP
- Hands-on experience with Linux systems, RHEL/CentOS preferred
- Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, .Net)
- Good understanding of Apache Web Server, Nginx, MySQL, MongoDB, Nagios
- Experience with cloud platform evaluation, cost estimation, and crafting roll-out plans
- Effectively communicate the target state architecture topology on the cloud to clients
- Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Containers)
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company.
- Experience in Cloud Infrastructure and Operations domains
- Architect level Certification for any of the public cloud is an advantage
- Passion and ability to adapt the Start-up Culture
- Good analytical, communication, problem-solving, and learning skills.
- Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated
- Cloud reports to management and other IT development partners
