Challenges
Up Norway has built its AWS infrastructure with its internal team and is currently using many different AWS cloud services. Given the complexity of their setup, Up Norway was now looking for external validation to certify security and efficiency, highlight weak points to be improved, and align to all the AWS best practices.
Solution
- Ankercloud conducted a Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR), an in-depth review of Up Norway’s setup.
- Up Norway’s setup was evaluated from all the AWS Well-Architected Framework pillars:
- Operational Excellence
- Performance Efficiency
- Security
- Cost Optimization
- Reliability
- Sustainability
- Special focus was put on Security, highlighting all the High-Risk Issues (HRIs) with the highest priority
- Ankercloud took action by remediating the HRIs while giving complete guidance on the overall improvement
- Complete reports on the infrastructure status were generated, touching all the AWS best practices and certifying the results achieved.
